Andrew Peace Master Peace Red Willie Blend 2006 $8

Unscrew for a nice surprise! (alright get your mind out of the gutter, it’s a screw top). A blend of 40% Shiraz, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Grenache 10% Mourvèdre from South Eastern Australia. A medium-to-full body easy to drink red. A lot of juicy black fruit, a tad smokey and soft on the tannins.I was surprised I was going to find something for today’s post since I have been utterly spoiled the last week drinking Realm, Hartwell, Tobacco Road Cellars, Switchback Ridge, Blackbird, Pahlmeyer….ok, you get the picture….but none the less this is a good wine to just pop open with friends for a casual evening together or to enjoy before heading out on the town this evening. Cheers!
